Visit a wooden rabbit, a stone pig, and a metal llama

  • Wooden Rabbit – north of Snobby Shores.
  • Stone Pig – east of Lucky Landing
  • Metal Llama – north of Junk Junction.

A map for a closer look:

Visit the 5 highest elevations on the island

Time to reach the highest points on the map! You don’t have to visit them all in one match. Each one is at the top of mountain, save for the one at Polar Peak. If you require further assistance please check out our detailed guide here.

  • Stunt Mountain, south or Pleasant Park.
  • Mountain with evil lair, east of Snobby Shores
  • Ice Mountain with submarine, east of Frosty Flights.
  • Top of the castle at Polar Peak.
  • Top of the ring of volcano.

A map for a closer look:

Eliminate opponents at Lazy Lagoon or Frosty Flights

Take down three different enemies in either Lazy Lagoon and Frosty Flights. Both locations are not the busiest in terms of enemies but you’re more likely to find other players at Lazy Lagoon since it’s newer.

Battle Pass Challenges

Stage 1: Land at Fatal Fields

Another multi-stage challenge that has you simply landing in a specific location. Take note that you must complete the match by either getting first place or dying normally. You cannot get the challenge and quit. The full list of locations:

  • Stage 1: Land at Fatal Fields
  • Stage 2: Land at Lazy Lagoon
  • Stage 3: Land at Shifty Shafts
  • Stage 4: Land at Frosty Flights
  • Stage 5: Land at Sunny Steps

Search where the knife points on the Treasure Map loading screen

Once you get to Tier 10 of the Season 8 Battle Pass, you’ll unlock a loading screen featuring a treasure map and a knife placed over a peculiar location. Your job is to head to this location on the actual battle royale map to find a hidden battle star. If you require further assistance please check out our detailed guide here.

Head over to quadrant J6 the area south of Lonely Lodge and south of the old mansion. The exact location of the battle star is over a patch of dirt over a hill south of the front gate.

Get an elimination with a Flint-Knock Pistol or Boom Bow

Take out a single enemy using the new Flint-Knock Pistol or the Boom Bow. The Boom Bow has a small area of effect for the explosion so your aim does not have to be the most precise. For the Flint-Knock Pistol, you’ll have to be careful as the knock back might help the enemy recover. Try blasting them off a cliff!

Use different throwable items in a single match

Use ‘two items that require you to throw in order to use, but make sure it’s in the same match. Using any two of these items will work:

  • Clinger
  • Dynamite
  • Stink Bomb
  • Impulse Grenade
  • Boogie Bomb

Chapter 3 Season 2 Live Event: Everything we know so far

Published

The first live event of Chapter 3 is expected to take place in less than six weeks. Here’s everything we know so far, based on various leaks.

Leaked Map Stages

All future stages for the territories controlled by both The Seven and Imagined Order have been leaked by data-miner Hypex. The maps show the Resistance will retake control of most of the Island, leaving only Command Cavern and Loot Lake for the IO. The final stage will lead the story directly into a live event, with the Imagined Order having little options left for victory.

Leaked Quest Voice Line

Epic also recently added new voice lines for the upcoming Week 6 Quests which, when reviewed closely, appear to tease the main story of a new live event. The Agent Jones character claims “one of the IO’s Doomsday devices is now in production”, seemingly hinting that the new event could be related to Chapter 2 Season 2’s The Device, which was also focused around a “Doomsday Device”.

A transcript of the Agent Jones voice lines can be found below:

“This will not come as a surprise, but IO management loves Doomsday machines – loves them! There’s even a doomsday division at HQ, oh man their softball team is awful but they will one day destroy us all so… kind of a wash. We have very credible intel that one of the IO’s Doomsday devices is now in production. We need to find out everything we can while we still can. Hit the field, I’ll prep the cameras . . . I have a very bad feeling that we are not ready for what we’re gonna find out.”

Doomsday Landmark

According to Fortnite data-miner GMatrixGames, a new Landmark code-named ‘DDMachine’ has been added to the game’s tags, suggesting that the Doomsday Device described by Agent Jones could be added to the map in the future.

Less than six weeks remain until the potential live event. We’ll keep you updated with the latest leaks and official announcements.

Boogie Bomb and Rift-To-Go Unvaulted Until April 25

Published

By

In preparation for the upcoming item vote, the Boogie Bomb and Rift-To-Go have both been unvaulted for a trial period until April 25.

Players can now find the items scattered throughout the Island from Chests, Llamas, Supply Drops, Loot Sharks and ground loot. Once the short trial period ends on April 25 at 8AM ET, new gold funding stations will go live in-game on the following day to let players “fund” the item they want to see return permanently (for the rest of Season 2). The item that becomes 100% funded first will automatically be reintroduced to the loot pool as soon as the goal, of which the exact value is unknown, is reached.

We’ll keep you updated on which item gets unvaulted.
